Lenovo has been launching a range of devices in this year’s IFA. The company today launched three new K series smartphones – the K6, K6 Power and K6 Note. All the three phones come with some similar base specs – Lenovo has used the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor in the K6, K6 Power as well as the K6 Note. Apart from that, they all come with full HD displays, albeit of different sizes.
Lenovo K6 Series Specs
The Lenovo K6 is the lowest in the hierarchy here, meaning it’s also the most affordable smartphone of the three. The K6 comes with a 5 inch full HD display and an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. Assisting the CPU is a Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 or 32 GB internal storage, with support for microSD cards. The back houses a 13 MP camera with an LED flash and the front comes with an 8 MP camera. The phone is powered by a 3000 mAh battery.
Coming to the K6 Power, it also comes with a 5 inch full HD display and an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. Assisting the CPU is a Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 2 GB RAM with 16 GB storage or 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage – with support for microSD cards. The back houses a 13 MP camera with an LED flash and the front comes with an 8 MP camera. The phone is powered by a bigger 4000 mAh battery, as evident from the name.
Finally, coming to the K6 Note, it comes with a bigger 5.5 inch full HD display and an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. Assisting the CPU is a Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 3 GB or 4 GB RAM and with 32 GB internal storage – expandable with microSD cards up to 256 GB. The back houses a 16 MP camera with an LED flash and the front comes with an 8 MP camera. The phone is powered by a bigger 4000 mAh battery.
All the three K6 variants come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Lenovo’s Vibe UI on top.
Pricing And Availability
Lenovo is initially launching the K6 series in Europe. All the three phones will be priced in the €150-€230 range. Other market specific launches will be known a little later.
