Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is the latest smartphone to be launched in India. Close on the heels of the about to be launched Galaxy J7 Prime, the Galaxy A9 Pro is a big smartphone featuring a 6 inch Super AMOLED display and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It comes in and fills another price spot for Samsung, making the Galaxy range a solid lineup across the price spectrum.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a big 6 inch full HD Super AMOLED display, giving you a pixel density of ~367 PPI. The phone also comes with a metal design and a glass back, giving it a premium look. The company will be selling the Galaxy A9 Pro starting September 26th.

The Galaxy A9 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, expandable with a microSD card up to 256 GB. The Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a dedicated microSD card slot, so you can use two SIM cards and the microSD card at the same time.

In the imaging department, the Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a 16 MP camera, f/1.9 aperture, Optical Image Stabilisation and an LED flash to assist in low light conditions. The phone supports video recording up to 1080p at 30 FPS. On the front, you get an 8 MP camera, also with an f/1.9 aperture and up to 1080p recording.


Like almost all the recently launched smartphones out there, the Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a fingerprint sensor, quick charging and a range of connectivity options like Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and FM Radio. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is priced at Rs. 32,490. It will be available with retailers across the country, and most of the major online marketplaces. The Galaxy A9 Pro will be sold in Gold, Black and White colours.
