Micromax which was busy launching its smartphones for a while. It has now planned to expand its tablet line-up. Today the company has launched an 8 inch tab, the Canvas Tab P681. This new tab from Micromax is sold exclusively on Flipkart for Rs 7499.
Micromax has targeted the multimedia on-the-go this time, and have come up with an 8 inch tab sporting DTS dual box speakers. Micromax Canvas Tab P681 comes with an 8 inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a decent 4000 mAh battery.
It runs on a 1.3 Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT8321 processor and has 1 GB of RAM. The tab comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and has 16 GB of inbuilt storage and can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD card. It sports a single SIM card slot and supports voice calling.
On the connectivity front, it includes GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and even supports USB OTG.
Hence, Micromax have come up with a media focused tab for an affordable price of Rs. 7,499 but we have much competition in that sub 7k segment like Xiaomi, Coolpad etc.
