Lenovo Phab 2 Plus, which was launched at the company’s Tech World Event back in June this year is finally going to make its way to India. Lenovo has sent out media invites for the launch event on November 8. It is the successor to the last year’s Lenovo Phab Plus and will be launched exclusively on Amazon India. The main highlight of this phone is the massive 6.4-inch display and the dual-camera setup on the back. It will be available in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey color options.
Lenovo Phab 2 Plus Specification
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus sports a massive 6.4 inch fullHD (1080p) LCD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek octa-core MT8783 processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via hybrid card slot. Lenovo Phab 2 Plus packs a dual 13 MP camera setup on the rear with PDAF and dual LED flash and an 8 MP front camera.
It comes in a full-metal unibody design with a Fingerprint scanner on the back. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC and micro-USB . It is powered up by a massive 4050 mAh non removable battery and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Sensors on the phone include compass, magnetometer, proximity, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and gyroscope. It measures 173.9 x 88.3 x 9.6mm and weighs 218 grams.
It packs quite a lot of good feature with a solid build, a massive display and a good camera. People who love big displays are definitely going to love this phone. Mi Max is the direct competitor of this device and it will be interesting to see that how Lenovo prices this phone against the Mi Max.
Pricing & Availability
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus was launched for $299 (INR 20,000 approx). Although we expect the pricing to be bit below this but we still have to wait for the official price announcement. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus will be exclusively available at Amazon India in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey color options.
