Lenovo Gearing Up To Launch K6 Series Phone Soon In India

To further strengthen the K Series, the Chinese consumer electronics major, Lenovo is gearing up to launch the K6 Series soon in India. This will be the successor of budget K5 smartphone and is likely to be updated on performance and designing front. From past few days, the social media handles of Lenovo India is promoting the K6 Series with #KickassPower, and this certainly hints towards the launch to take place soon in the country.

But, all these promotional posts of the series does not make a clear signal about, which phone among the series the company will launch first, which were showcased at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin 2016 (IFA) in August. The series include K6, a battery life-centric K6 Power and top-end phablet K6 Note.

The hashtag ‘Power’ hint towards the K6 Power but, this is just a speculation and we never know which one company might introduce first. Lenovo’s K6 launch will not only strengthen the company’s lineup in India but, will also help in improving the lead from its key rival, Micromax.

Considering the specifications of the K6 Series, the phone is expected to have a 5-inch full HD display, and its performance will be taken care by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core CPU. A 13 MP primary camera with LED flash and an 8 MP secondary camera, 4G LTE support, fingerprint sensor, 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB storage are some other highlights of the phone. K6 Power is oriented towards better battery life and thus it will be equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery, which is capable enough to keep the pulses of phone running for almost two days with mixed usage.

Focusing on the generic K6, the phone will have quite similar specs with the difference in battery and RAM. It might feature 2GB RAM and 3,000 mAh battery. The range-topping K6 Note will differ in a lot of aspects.

The display will be a 5.5-inch full HD, a 16 MP primary camera with dual-LED flash, and an 8 MP front snapper. Powering it is a 4,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, and 3GB/4GB RAM, 32 GB expandable storage. We expect that the first phone from the series will surface in the market in coming few weeks.
