Lenovo Vibe K6 Power With 4000mAh Battery, SD 430 To Launch In India Soon

Lenovo is gearing up to launch its Vibe K6 Power smartphone in India. The company has already begun teasing the upcoming device on Twitter with the hashtag #KickassPower. As the name suggests, the Lenovo Vibe K6 Power comes with a large 4000mAh battery and is powered by the Snapdragon 430 SoC. On the paper, it seems to be very similar to Xiaomi Redmi 3S. Read on to know about the detailed specifications and probable pricing of the Vibe K6 Power in the country.

The forthcoming smartphone is a budget Android device with decent hardware. The K6 Power features an extended battery backup combined with average processing power. Lenovo has also added a fingerprint sensor at the back of the upcoming handset. The phone will support 4G VoLTE out of the box, and you will be able to use it seamlessly with Reliance Jio.

Lenovo Vibe K6 Power Specifications

Lenovo Vibe K6 Power comes with a 5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920) IPS LCD panel. Inside, sits the octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 chipset. The lower mid-range SoC sports eight ARM Cortex A53 cores with a clock speed of up to 1.4 GHz each. The Adreno 505 GPU handles the graphics performance. Snapdragon 430 is adequate for day to day tasks but considering the Full HD resolution screen, it may not be fluid in gaming.

Coming to the memory, the Lenovo Vibe K6 Power has two different variants. The base model comes with 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB inbuilt memory while the top variant rocks 3 GB of RAM combined with 32 GB of onboard storage. You can further increase the storage by adding a memory card up to 256 GB capacity. The Vibe K6 Power runs on the previous generation Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The upcoming handset comes with a 13 MP primary camera at the back along with an 8 MP selfie shooter. The rear snapper sports PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and can shoot up to Full HD 1080p videos at 30 fps. The circular fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the Vibe K6 Power right below the LED flash of the primary camera.

As mentioned above, the Lenovo Vibe K6 Power comes with a massive 4000mAh battery. This along with the mid-range processor indicates that the smartphone should sport some serious power backup. Speaking of connectivity, there are two versions of the handset, one with a single SIM slot and another with dual SIM, dual standby. Previous instances suggest that Lenovo shall bring the dual SIM model in India.

The K6 Power is compatible with 4G VoLTE and comes with the usual set of connectivity options including single-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth v4.1, FM Radio, GPS, microUSB 2.0, etc. There are three color variants namely Silver, Dark Grey, and Gold.

Lenovo Vibe K6 Power: Price and Availability

Considering its price in China, we can safely presume that it will cost below Rs. 10,000. Upon rough estimates, the 2 GB / 16 GB version may cost around Rs. 7,999 while the 3 GB / 32 GB model might be priced at Rs. 8,999. Although Lenovo hasn’t yet announced any specific release date, we expect that the Vibe K6 Power will go official within a few days.
