There are uncountable companies that are manufacturing power banks, and we often see at least one company coming up every month. In the overcrowded market, one brand that has kept a consistent approach and turned out dependable is Ambrane.

We recently received the latest power bank from Ambrane, called the P-1313 13000 mAh power bank. I have been using it from a month now, and here is my experience with it. It is available for purchase on Snapdeal and other online merchants at a best buy of Rs. 1,499

The Ambrane P-1313 comes only in Gold, Silver, Pink and Black colour with a matte finish on top. It is made up of metal which feels very solid and looks strong. It has a smooth finish with rounded sides and no edges on the sides, which makes it easy to hold and slide in your bag pocket. The design of the power bank is elegant and definitely looks like a premium one.

It is a bar or rectangular shaped power bank 2 output ports, 1 input port and a power button on the left edge. Ambrane P-1313 13000mAh Power Bank Hardware

The Ambrane P-1313 power bank comes with 13000 mAh capacity Lithium ion Polymer batteries packed inside, which can be charged using micro USB. There are 2 output ports and one input port. The output port gives 5V/2.1A current from both the ports.

Some additional features include overcharge protection, short circuit protection, over current protection and overload protection. These protective features make it very safe to use.

Charging Time and Performance

It took me around 8 long hours to fully charge the power bank with 5V/2.1A charger from 0-100%. Sad part is that the power bank does not have quick charge support to make it a better deal for consumers. Once fully charged, you can consume up to 10000 mAh of juice from the power bank. Which means you can charge a device with 2500 mAh battery 4 times.

The conversion rate is average but the battery cells are of good quality. I noticed impressive thermal control, and heat sensitive mechanism to ensure safety. The torch can be used even after the battery is drained out, but I am not sure if you will really find it useful.

Ambrane 13000 mAh Power Bank Pricing and Availability

The Ambrane P-1313 13000 mAh power bank box lists the price of the power bank to be 2,999 INR, but it has been selling at a best buy of Rs. 1,499 on Snapdeal, Flipkart, Amazon and Ebay.

Overall, the performance of the P-1313 13000mAh power bank is decent. It takes a long time to get charged from 0-100% but the conversion rate is quite reasonable looking at other power banks in the same price segment. Good thing about the device is its build quality, and features like battery indicator and torch.
