Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge Launched In India For Rs. 50,900

Samsung has launched the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge in India. The current Galaxy flagship was announced back at the Mobile World Congress this year. Samsung launched the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in India in Black, Sapphire Gold and Platinum. The new Blue Coral colour will be available across all retailers in the country as well as e-commerce websites at a price of Rs. 50,900.

Speaking on the launch, Manu Sharma, Samsung India Mobile Business Vice President, said:

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge features a 5.5-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with a pixel density of ~534 PPI. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI on top.

Handling the processing is an octa-core Exynos 8890 processor. The phone comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB UFS2.0 storage, expandable with a microSD card.

Galaxy S7 Edge features a 12 MP f/2.1 aperture Dual Pixel camera with OIS, LED flash, 4K video recording and slow-mo recording support. The front camera is a 5 MP unit with an f/1.7 aperture.

Other features include fingerprint sensor, IP68 certification and wireless charging support. The phone also features a dual SIM card slot (hybrid), 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS and FM Radio.

Powering the Galaxy S7 Edge is a 3600 mAh battery with fast charging support.

Pricing And Availability

Samsung has fixed the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge price at Rs. 50,900. The phone will be available with retailers across the country, Flipkart and Samsung’s own online store starting on December 15th.
