Lenovo Yoga Book 2-in-1 Launching On December 13 In India

Lenovo is back again with a new tablet of its Yoga series called Yoga Book 2-in-1. Lenovo will be launching this device on 13th of December in India and media invites have been sent out for the event. The Lenovo Yoga Book 2-in-1 was introduced at the IFA in September this year. It comes in two variants – one runs on Android OS and the other variant runs on Windows 10 OS. It’s a pretty slim tablet and it also sports a digitizer which also doubles up as a physical keyboard. It also comes with a Stylus which can be used with the digitizer for writing or drawing purpose. Overall it’s a quite interesting tablet and also have got some interesting features.

It features a 10.1-inch full-HD (1080p) IPS display with Corning Gorilla glass protection. It runs on Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor which is a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.4GHz. It has got 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via micro-SD card.

It sports an 8MP auto-focus rear camera and a 2MP fixed focus camera. It runs on either Android Marshmallow (6.0) or Windows 10 depending upon the variant you choose. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB port, HDMI port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Yoga Book comes with Dolby Atmos surround sound and stereo speaker setup. It is powered by an 8,500 mAh battery and weighs 690 grams. The body is made out of magnesium aluminium alloy and is quite sleek at 9.6mm of thickness.

Talking about the digitizer, it is made with glass with anti-glare coating and can be folded up to 180 degree. It can also be used as a halo keyboard with built-in haptic technology. It features a stylus which can be used to write or draw anything with the help of the digitizer which can be useful.

Pricing and Availability

The Lenovo Yoga Book Windows variant costs $550 (Rs. 37000 approx.) and the Android variant costs $500 (Rs. 33700 approx). However the prices in India will be slightly different so we have to wait for the official launch.
