Most of us are aware that unlimited internet, free voice calls and other services are not the only areas that Jio is looking to conquer and now Reliance Jio has taken the next step in order to take the business to next level. Yes, Jio.com is now offering the range of LYF 4G phones and JioFi 2 4G Hotspot.
It is almost one year that Reliance Jio offered its services for the RIL employees and it is almost more than 3 months since the commercial operations have started. In this short span, the company has managed to acquire 60 million customers and is looking to clock a benchmark of 100 million by March 2017.
For purchasing the new set of LYF phones, just head over to Jio.com and click on ‘devices’ tab on the top left corner. The list of new phones includes the LYF Water 11 which is priced at Rs 7,999 and runs on 1.3Ghz quad-core SoC processor, 3GB RAM, and 16 GB internal storage. It features 5-inch HD display, 13 MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and packs 2,100 mAh battery.
The next is LYF Water 8 which has a sticker price of Rs 8,999 and features 5-inch HD display, 1.5GHz octa-core SoC processor, 3GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and microSD card slot. Also featuring in the phone are 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie snapper, and 2,600 mAH battery. Both, The Water 7 and Water 8 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Top of the line is LYF Earth 1 which features 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display, 3GB RAM, and 32 GB onboard storage, which is expandable through microSD card. Camera duties include 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel selfie snapper. Fueling it is present a 3,500 mAh battery pack and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The phone is tagged at Rs 19,399.
The other tab offers the JioFi 4G hotspot which is holding a price tag of Rs 1,999. It is a portable Wi-Fi hotspot that features a 2,3000 mAh battery pack and allows an individual to connect up to 10 devices at a time. It also allows wireless data sharing through SD card. The highlighting feature is that one can install the Jio4GVoice app on your smartphone and can make unlimited voice calls using the JioFi 2.
According to Jio, one can get the deliveries of ordered smartphone in 3 to 5 days. Along with 7 days replacement and return policy, the payment options include credit cards, debit cards, net banking and Jio Money Wallet.
Under the ‘Happy New Year’ offer, customers will be delighted with free unlimited local and national voice as well as video calls. The offer also includes unlimited SMS, unlimited high-speed internet access, which is restricted to use of 1GB per day. After 1GB the speed will be reduced to 128Kbps, and will be reset every midnight. A Jio suite of apps will be also made available to the users which, include apps for music, videos, movies, and LIve TV streaming.
