Physical Overview

The Lenovo K6 Note comes with a metallic unibody design, which is one of the best in this price range. The design is symmetrical and also very precise. It features a 5.5 inch display with 72.7% screen-to-body ratio. Its dimensions are 151 x 76 x 8.4 mm mm and it weighs 160 grams. Overall the build quality is very premium at this price range.

Display

The Lenovo K6 Note comes with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with full HD resolution, giving you a pixel density of ~401 PPI.  In our time testing the device, we found the display to be good in terms of colour reproduction, accuracy and brightness.

Camera

It comes with a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. The rear camera has a really fast autofocus and does a good job in processing the image as well. Pictures in day light looked good, but the colours were surely looking over-saturated. The software plays a major role in the optics department but does give a satisfactory result.

The front camera is also good for day light pictures, but did not impress in low light conditions. Also the field of view is narrow while clicking pictures from the front camera.

Gaming Performance

Lenovo K6 Note has a decent 1.4 GHz Octa Core processor with Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 chipset and Adreno 505 GPU. It has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The gaming performance was good but it is not very suitable for heavy gamers. We played Asphalt 8 on this phone, overall the performance was decent with minimal heating. Battery drop was only 6% in 20 minutes.

Talking about its comparison with Xiaomi Redmi 3s, the latter is also equipped with the same hardware but Lenovo K6 Note has a FHD display which is better, but you will experience some frame drops when you play for a longer period. The sound quality (because of Dolby Atmos) is better than any other phone in this price range.

Conclusion

Lenovo has continued to launch some really good and value for money phones under its K series branding. With good sound, adequate performance, decent specs and support for dual SIM and 4G VoLTE out of the box – the most demanded feature these days. Apart from that, the big full HD display, a 4000 mAh battery also help the phone compete well against its counterparts.

Noting that the phone targets only offline consumers, it can be a great option for those looking for a smartphone in this price range.
