Jio SIM Card Home Delivery, Reliance Jio Parners With Snapdeal

After initiating the home delivery of Rs 2000 notes, Snapdeal is now geared up to start home delivery of Jio SIM cards. Snapdeal is partnering with Reliance Jio to deliver SIM cards at doorsteps. But, this will be different from the home delivery of SIM cards by Reliance itself.

How is it different?

The SIM card delivered by Snapdeal will also include the Happy New Year offer. Reliance Jio has already started sending emails to the customers to notify them about the new service being offered. For getting the SIM, the customer needs to have an Aadhaar card, and the company is not charging any cost for delivery of the sim cards. As the offer is limited to only specific locations, only limited customers will be able to avail this service.

The customers who have already received the email from Snapdeal can follow the link mentioned in the mail to fill up the details and order the Jio SIM card. Snapdeal is also offering the flexibility to request the delivery at specific times. After requesting, the customer will be getting a SMS detailing your choice of time and an executive from Reliance will visit the location mentioned at the given time to handle the SIM card and activate it.

As Reliance Jio is running behind the target of expected users, it is testing different ways to acquire new customers. Some ways are interesting and introduced for the first time, which has changed the way telecom industry works. A few days back, Reliance introduced its E-commerce portal to offer its smartphones and connectivity devices. Which allowed it to reach customers through e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Snapdeal.

Now, the company has introduced another way to acquire new customers. Let’s see how fast Jio goes to acquire new customers. More important is to improve the service to keep them intact after 31st March.
