LeEco Le 2 64GB Storage Version Launched In India

After introducing the 32GB storage version, LeEco has now launched the 64GB storage version of its Le 2 smartphone. The 32GB storage version was launched in June and now another option has been added to the particular phone. The particular phone will attract the ones who loves store a lot of stuff in their smartphones.

There are no major differences in the specifications of the phone and it features a 5.5-inch full HD display, and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under EUI 5.8. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor while camera duties include 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1. Fueling the phone is a 3,000mAh battery pack which supports fast charging.

The other significant features of the phone include fingerprint sensor located at the back of the phone, a CDLA-based audio technology that allows audio transfer via USB Type-C Port. The phone does not feature the 3.5mm audio jack.

The 3GB RAM and 64GB storage version is priced at Rs 13,999 and is now available through various E-commerce platforms. The second option with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at Rs 11,999 and is also available through online mode which was only restricted to offline selling previously.


Considering the price segment in which LeEco has placed Le 2, the phone will be competing against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, and Lenovo Vibe K5 Note. Both these phones are competent in different segments and will give a tough competition to the LeEco’s offering. Let’s see how the new phone introduced by LeEco will perform in the Indian market with such a tough competition from the other Chinese competitors.
