The Indian smartphone brand, XOLO, which is known for its value for money smartphones in the budget segment, has come up with a new phone. The company has launched XOLO Era 2X with a price tag of Rs. 6,666 for 2GB and Rs. 7,499 for 3GB variant. The phone will be available on Flipkart starting from 9th Jan. The highlight of the phone is the 3GB RAM, 4G VoLTE support and a fingerprint sensor.
XOLO already has its Era 1X and Era 2 that are still very popular in the entry level segment. But the Era 2X comes in as a more loaded device when compared with them. Let us now take a look at the complete specifications of the phone.
XOLO Era 2X Specifications
XOLO Era 2X features a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (HD). It is powered by a Quad Core processor with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.25 GHz. It is equipped with a MediaTek MT6737 chipset and Mali-T720 GPU. The phone comes in two variants – 2 GB and 3 GB RAM, with 16 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32 GB. Operating system is Android v6.0 (Marshmallow).
Talking about the camera it is equipped with a 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. On the front it has a 5 MP camera that comes with Screen Flash, 3P Lens & f/2.4 aperture. Connectivity options include Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth, Micro USB port, GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack and 4G VoLTE support.
This dual SIM smartphone is backed by a 2500 mAh battery and it weighs around 143 grams. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Light sensor, accelerometer sensor and proximity sensor. In addition to the security (tap to unlock), fingerprint sensor also offers features like tap to capture and tap to answer.

The phone is priced at Rs. 6,666 for the 2GB variant and Rs. 7,499 for the 3GB variant. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from 9th Jan in two colors namely Black & Gun and Latte Gold.
