The latest in the series of Nokia leaks is the Nokia 3, an entry level smartphone from the former mobile giant from Finland. A few days ago, we had another leak detailing most of the specs of the Nokia 6, Nokia 5. At the time, there was little information about the Nokia 3. But now we have the detailed specs of this entry level Nokia Android smartphone, along with the pricing and availability information as well.
Nokia 3 Specifications
The Nokia 3 is rumoured to launch with a 5.2 inch IPS LCD display. The resolution of the display is expected to be HD (1280 x 720 pixels), which is pretty much in line with its entry level pricing. The pixel density of the phone will be approximately 282 PPI. It will also come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Powering the phone will be a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. It comes with 64-bit 4 x 1.4 GHz cores and Adreno 308 GPU. In terms of memory, the leak suggests that the Nokia 3 will come with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, with microSD card support.
Imaging will be handled by a 13 MP camera on the back with an LED flash to assist in low lighting conditions. The front will come with a 5 MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
Other specifications of the device will possibly include dual SIM and 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. We are unsure about the availability of a fingerprint sensor at the moment.
Pricing And Availability
The leak suggests that the Nokia 3 will be priced at €149, which translates to roughly about Rs. 10,500 or about $155. HMD Global will be launching the phone along with the earlier reported Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3310 at the MWC next week.
