Vivo Y66 With 16MP Front Camera and Flash Launched For Rs. 14,990

Vivo Y66 is the latest smartphone in town trying to capitalize on the selfie craze. The latest smartphone from Vivo comes with a 16 MP front camera along with a front facing LED flash. The new mid-range smartphone from Vivo also comes with a 5.5 inch HD display and supports 4G VoLTE out of the box.

 

Vivo Y66 Specifications

The Vivo Y66 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top. The phone comes with a 5.5 inch HD IPS LCD display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The pixel density of the phone stands at ~267 PPI.

The Vivo Y66 is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 processor, with the graphics being handled by Mali T860 GPU. The phone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, with support for microSD cards up to 256GB. The microSD card slot is a hybrid one, though, meaning you will only be able to use either dual SIM or a single SIM and a microSD card, at any point of time.

The main highlight of the Y66 is its cameras. On the rear, the Y66 comes with a 13 MP f/2.2 camera with a single LED flash. On the front, you get a 16 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and single LED flash.


Vivo Y66 misses out on the fingerprint sensor. Other features of the phone include dual SIM and 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The phone is powered by a 3000 mAh battery.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo Y66 has been priced at Rs. 14,990. Vivo has launched the phone in Crown Gold and Rose Gold colour options. The phone will be available for sale across India starting March 20th.
