Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Gets Android 7.0 Nougat Update In India

Samsung has finally started to roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to its Galaxy Note 5 smartphones in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and some other countries. This comes almost two months after the S7 and S7 Edge got the taste of the latest Android version. The new update brings a handful of new features as well as some bug fixes to the more than year old phablet.

With Android Nougat, the Note 5 will be smoother to use, thanks to the performance improving UI refinements. The new update offers enhanced multi-window mode, better notification panel, improved always on display, and tons of system refreshments. App installation is also going to be a lot faster and storage space management will be much more efficient. Samsung has added the latest March security update in the package too.

Speaking of the size, the update is quite heavy. You need to download a whopping 1030 MB for which you must use a Wi-Fi connection. This is an OTA update and installation procedure is very simple.
