Nokia 150 is now available for purchase in India. It is the first phone that Nokia launched in partnership with HMD Global last year. Nokia had stated that it will start selling the phone in the first quarter of 2017, and here it is, available on Amazon India and Flipkart. The lowest price that we could find for the phone was Rs. 2,040.
The Nokia 150 is a basic featurephone. It comes with a 2.4 inch QVGA resolution display (320 x 240 pixels). Featuring a polycarbonate shell, the Nokia 150 comes with the good old Nokia styling with decently sized keypad. It runs on the Nokia Series 30+ operating system.
Other features of the Nokia 150 include support for microSD cards up to 32GB. The phone also comes with dual SIM support, VGA camera on the back with an LED flash, FM Radio, MP3 Player and Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM support. The phone is powered by a 1020 mAh battery. Nokia claims that it can give you up to 22 hours of battery life along with a standby time of 25 days.
Nokia has also bundled its extremely popular game, Snake Xenzia. It is a refreshed and slightly different version of the original Snake game.
More recently, Nokia launched a trio of Android smartphones at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year. Apart from that, the company also rebooted the legendary Nokia 3310 in a hippy new avatar. The Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 are the first Android smartphones with Nokia branding. HMD Global announced that they will be available in 120 countries, including India, in Quarter 2 2017 – i.e., between April and June.
