HTC One X10 Launched With 5.5″ FHD Display, 4,000mAh Battery

HTC One X10 is the newest mid range smartphone from the Taiwanese company. The handset has just gone official in Russia with a price tag of 19990 RUB (Rs. 22,880 approx.). The successor of the HTC One X9 packs a 4000mAh battery inside a gorgeous metal shell. Powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, the One X10 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The newly launched smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920) display. It is a Super LCD panel and sports Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Inside, sits the octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC. The 28 nm chip rocks eight Cortex A53 cores clocked at up to 2.0 GHz each. A dual-core Mali T860 MP2 GPU handles the graphics performance.

Speaking of software, the HTC One X10 runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with HTC Sense user interface. The smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Moving on to the optics, a 16 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture sits at the back of the One X10. Powered by a BSI (Back Side Illuminated) sensor, the rear camera should perform well in low light conditions. On the front, there is an 8 MP selfie shooter. Both the cameras can shoot Full HD (1080 x 1920) videos at up to 30 fps.

Coming to connectivity, the HTC One X10 supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, dual band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, A-GPS, etc. Apparently, the smartphone does not come with VoLTE technology, but a software update can enable it straightaway.

One of the main advantages of the One X10 its huge 4000mAh battery. HTC claims that it can easily power the phone for two days without charging. Another plus point of the latest handset is its magnificent design language. The phone comes in two attires – black and white.

The HTC One X10 falls in the premium midrange category of smartphones. It costs 19990 RUB (Rs. 22,880 approx.) in Russia and should be available for around the same price in other countries too. As of now, the smartphone is exclusive to Russia with an imminent international launch.
