Honor, a subsidiary brand of Huawei has launched the Honor Bee 2 in India. The Honor Bee 2 is the successor of company’s old Honor Bee. It’s a budget segment smartphone and comes with some useful features. It features a Smart-key which can be customized to launch any app. Additionally it also comes with a ‘Rainbow Light’ feature which lights up while getting a call, or notification.
The Honor Bee 2 is priced at Rs. 7,499 and will be available from April 19 through Huawei’s 20,000 plus offline partners. The smartphone comes with a 15 month service warranty and will be offered in gold, white and black color options.
Huawei Honor Bee 2 Specifications
The Huawei Honor Bee 2 sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA (854x480p) IPS LCD display on the front. It is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6735M chip-set paired with Mali T720 GPU. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32 GB.
It houses a 5 MP rear camera with autofocus and dual tone LED flash. On the front, it has got a 2 MP selfie camera. The camera app comes with Touch focus, Self timer, Face Detection, Smile detection, HDR, Face Beauty, and Touch Shot modes. It runs on an older Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 skin on top
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 3.5 mm jack, and a micro-USB port. Sensors include an accelerometer and a proximity sensor. It measures 134.2 x 66.7 x 9.9 mm. It is backed by a 2,100 mAh Li-polymer battery.

Pricing & Availability
The Huawei Honor Bee 2 is priced at Rs. 7,499 and is offered in gold, white and black color options. It will be available from 19th April onwards through Huawei’s 20,000 plus offline partners. The smartphone will also carry a 15 month service warranty.
