Motorola Moto E4/E4 Plus Specs Revealed by Benchmark Listing

Motorola Moto E4/E4 Plus has just been listed in Geekbench database giving us an idea about its specifications.  The successor of the Moto E3 is seen to sport a quad-core MediaTek SoC combined with 2GB of RAM. Unfortunately, we can’t yet confirm if it is the Moto E4 or the E4 Plus.

Motorola Moto E4/E4 Plus Specifications

The upcoming entry-level smartphone from Lenovo-owned Motorola is expected to sport a 5-inch display. The screen resolution is expected to be limited to HD (1280 x 720). The Moto E4 Plus might even rock a larger 5.2-inch panel.

According to the leaked benchmark listing, the Moto E4 will be powered by the MediaTek MT6737 chipset. The quad-core processor features four ARM Cortex A53 cores, each clocked at 1.25 GHz. This is mated with a dual-core Mali T720 GPU.

It is a significant improvement from the Moto E3’s MediaTek MT6735p SoC. The latter not only runs at a lower frequency but also has half the GPU capability of the MT6737.

Coming to the memory department, the Moto E4/E4 Plus will reportedly have 2 GB RAM combined with at least 16 GB of internal storage. The smartphone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Even though we don’t have any solid info about the camera division of the upcoming smartphone, speculations suggest an 8 MP primary shooter combined with a 2 MP selfie unit.

The Motorola Moto E4/E4 Plus will come with 4G LTE and VoLTE support. Other general connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, etc. shall be there too. The E4 Plus will additionally get a fingerprint scanner mounted on its home button.
