HTC VIVE VR Headset Launched In India For Rs. 92,990

For hardcore VR lovers, HTC India has recently launched its Vive VR system in India at Rs. 92,990. The system includes wireless VR controllers, room scale movement, and Head Mounted Display along with a built-in camera. In order to celebrate Vive’s India launch, HTC is offering free shipping when a user orders Vive VR from Amazon.in. Along with this, the company is also offering full-fledged VR experience, Everest VR and Richie’s Plank Experience.

The VR comes with an 110˚ field of view, intuitive controls and HD haptic feedback which offers an unparalleled sense of immersion. The Vive VR comes with two wireless controllers, Vive base stations – to track user movements, a Vive Link Box and a pair of Vive earbuds.

The front-facing camera is equipped to aware you of objects in front while wireless controllers are backed with haptic feedback and dual-stage triggers. Room scale movements are enabled and an HMD is also placed with a built-in camera and phone. The Vive VR will be exclusively available on Amazon.in with pre-orders starting from April 22, 2017.

Later, it will be available on some selected retailers in selected locations in India. The selected locations will be equipped with an interactive Vive demonstration station which will be open to the public for personal experience. These stores will offer a variety of virtual reality content so that people can be aware of the capabilities of the VR platform.
