HTC U11 To Feature 360 Real-Life Recording

HTC is gearing up for its next big launch and just before its official launch, the Taiwanese manufacturer has released a new teaser of its upcoming HTC U11. Through its official Twitter account, HTC created the hype for U11 by indicating the 360 real-life recording feature.

Though the teaser clearly indicates that the upcoming HTC U11 will be able to do 360 real-life recording but stops short of explaining what actually 360 means. It can be degree perhaps. We are not sure why the company omitted the following word but, it is sure that the smartphone is going to do something 360 with its 12MP rear camera but cannot commit anything sure. However, the details related to it will be released on next Tuesday.

Apart from the feature teased recently, the smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with finger gesture support. For imaging, a 12 MP rear camera and a 16 MP selfie shooter is equipped. The smartphone will come with USB Type C-port and 3.5mm audio jack as standard.

The U11 will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.4GHz and accompanied with Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone will be launched in two variants – 4GB RAM/ 6GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage. The storage can be further upgraded up to 2TB via micro SD.

The phone might feature a 3,000mAh battery pack and support fast charging with HTC Rapid Charger 3.0. The smartphone will run on the Android Nougat 7.1.1 OS and feature Bluetooth v5.0. Similar to HTC U Ultra, the U11 will also feature the company’s new virtual assistant, “Sense Companion”. Users can squeeze on either size of the display to perform various actions depending on the user’s gesture.

There is no information on the pricing part of the phone but, it is expected to be tagged around other flagship smartphones of its competitors like Samsung and LG. Let’s see what HTC U11 will offer to its consumers and manages to grab market share in its respective segment.
