Moto E4, E4 Plus Announced With Android Nougat, 4G VoLTE

Lenovo-owned smartphone maker Motorola today announced its latest budget devices, the Moto E4 and E4 Plus. The devices have been priced very competitively and the Moto E4 Plus will definitely stand out from its competitors due to its huge 5,000 mAh battery. The devices come with Quad core Snapdragon processors and run on Android 7.1 Nougat.

Moto E4 Specifications

The Moto E4 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and features a metal unibody design. The device comes with a 5 inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~294 PPI.

The Moto E4 is powered by a Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor clubbed with Adreno 308 GPU. The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded via microSD card. The device will be available in single SIM and dual SIM variants.

Coming to the camera department, the Moto E4 comes with an 8 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, the device comes with a 5 MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash for better low light selfies.

The Moto E4 comes with a 2,800 mAh battery with rapid charge support. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.

The Moto E4 Plus is powered by a Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor clubbed with Adreno 308 GPU. The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB / 32 GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded via microSD card. The device will be available in single SIM and dual SIM variants.

Coming to the camera department, the Moto E4 Plus comes with a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, the device comes with a 5 MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash for better low light selfies.

Pricing and Availability

The Moto E4 has been priced at $129.99 (Rs. 8,400 approx) and will be available in Licorice Black and Fine Gold color options. The Moto E4 Plus will start at $179.99 (Rs. 11,600 approx) and will be available in Oxford Blue, Iron Gray and Blush Gold colors. Motorola has not revealed any information regarding the availability of the device.
