Nokia has finally launched its first Android smartphones in India – the Nokia 6, 5 and 3 have officially landed in India. The former smartphone industry leader still has many fans in this country, and its re-entry in the market has been awaited for a while now. After launching the Nokia 3310 earlier last month, its first three Android smartphones are now available in the country.
Nokia 3 Specifications
Positioned in the entry-level budget smartphones, the Nokia 3 is equipped with a 5.0 inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The resolution of the display is HD (1280 X 720 pixels) and pixel density is 282 ppi, which is quite decent according to its segment. The phone runs on Android Nougat 7.0 and supports 4G VoLTE.

Powering the Nokia 3 is a quad-core Mediatek MT6737 chipset. It is coupled with 2GB RAM and 16 internal storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB through microSD card. Imaging capabilities include an 8 MP camera at the rear and the front with autofocus. Fueling the phone is present a 2650 mAh battery.
Nokia 5 Specifications
The Nokia 5 features a 5.2-inch HD display (1280 X 720 pixles) with Corning Gorilla glass protection. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor which is coupled to a 2 GB RAM. The internal storage is 16GB and can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD.

It runs on Android Nougat out of the box. For imaging, a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera is equipped. The rear camera supports auto-focus, face detection, HDR and full HD video recording.
Nokia 6 Specifications
The Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5 inch full HD in-cell IPS LCD display, resulting in a pixel density of ~401 PPI. The display features a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass for an improved viewing experience.
The device features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and Adreno 505 GPU. The phone features 3GB RAM, which should be more than sufficient for almost every user. The internal storage is fixed at 32GB, which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card.

Coming to the imaging, the Nokia 6 comes with a 16 MP camera on the back with an f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus and dual LED flash. The device also features an 8 MP front camera with an 84˚ wide angle lens and 1.12um pixel size.
Pricing and Availability
The Nokia 6 is the highest end smartphone among the Nokia 3, 5 and 6. It has been priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon.in. The phone will be available for purchase from Amazon.in starting July 14.
Additionally, Amazon Prime customers will also get Rs. 1000 discount on paying via Amazon Pay and up to 85% discount on Kindle books.
The Nokia 5 has been priced at Rs. 12,899. This is an offline-only device, so it won’t be available on any ecommerce websites. It will be available for pre-bookings starting July 7.
The Nokia 3 is an entry level smartphone, priced at Rs. 9,499. It is also offline-exclusive device. It will be available for purchase starting July 16.
