Motorola Moto C Plus is the next smartphone that is coming to India from the Lenovo-owned brand. The company just finished launching the Moto Z2 Play last week, along with the Moto C. The Moto C Plus is a budget smartphone with a huge 4000mAh battery. We have already got the press invites for its launch event which is scheduled on June 19, 2017.
Motorola Moto C Plus Specifications
The Moto C Plus boasts of a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display along with three capacitive touch buttons. It phone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat preinstalled.
The Moto C Plus is powered by the MediaTek MT6737 SoC. The 64-bit quad-core processor features four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz along with a Mali T720 GPU running at 650 MHz. This is mated with 1GB or 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. There is provision for a micro SD card too.
An 8 MP autofocus camera sits at the back of the Moto C Plus. This can shoot 720p videos at 30fps. The front snapper is a mediocre 2 MP unit.
The Moto C Plus measures at 144 mm x 72.3 mm x 10 mm and weighs at 162 grams. This bulkier weight is absolutely acceptable since there is a 4000mAh battery sitting inside the device.
Coming to connectivity, the Moto C plus supports 4G LTE and VoLTE along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, A-GPS, micro USB 2.0 port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The lower midrange handset from Motorola will be available in Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold or Starry Black color choices.
Pricing and Availability
The 1GB / 16GB Moto C Plus costs just €119 (Rs. 8350 approx.) in the Europe. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find the price of the 2 GB RAM model, which should be around Rs. 9000. The smartphone will launch in India with a similar price tag on Monday, 19th June.
