Gionee A1 Lite Launched With 20 MP Selfie Camera, 4000mAh Battery

Gionee has added yet another member to its A1 family. The Chinese smartphone-maker has just officially launched the A1 Lite in Nepal. Priced at 26,999 Nepalese Rupees (Rs. 16,900 approx.), the brand new handset comes with a 20 MP front camera and a large 4000mAh battery. The Gionee A1 Lite runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with an octa-core MediaTek chip. The phone may release in India sometime later.

Gionee A1 Lite Specifications

The newest smartphone from Gionee rocks a 5.3-inch HD (1280 x 720) display. Externally, the mobile sports a metal built with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Inside, there is the octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC. The processor has eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz along with a Mali T-720 GPU.

The Gionee A1 Lite runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Memory-wise, the phone has 3GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. There is a micro SD card slot too. Coming to the camera, there is a 13 MP rear shooter along with a 20 MP selfie unit. There are LED flashes both at the front and the back of the device.

Speaking of connectivity, the dual SIM A1 Lite supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, USB OTG, GPS, etc. A huge 4000mAh battery juices up the handset.

Pricing and Availability

Gionee A1 Lite

As mentioned above, the Gionee A1 Lite costs 26,999 Nepalese Rupees (Rs. 16,900 approx.). The smartphone will be available for pre-ordering from June 18, 2017, at Nepal. We still do not have any info regarding the Indian release date.
