Moto E4 Plus With 5000mAh Battery To Launch In India On July 12

Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to launch its latest Moto E4 Plus in India on July 12. The company has earlier launched a teaser of phone on its twitter account. The phone was launched globally in June along with the Moto E4.

The company has already launched the Moto E4 without any official announcement. Moto E4 is available offline for Rs. 8,999. Going by the global pricing and features, the Moto E4 Plus will be priced higher than the Moto E4 in India.

The Moto E4 Plus sports the same design like the recently launched Moto G5 series. The big highlight of the phone is its massive 5000mAh battery.

Moto E4 Plus Specifications

The Moto E4 Plus features 5.5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The display is slightly bigger than Moto E4 which has 5-inch display. The smartphone runs Android Nougat 7.1.1.


Moto E4 Plus

The E4 Plus comes with a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 427 SoC in the US. But the Indian variant will be powered by MediaTek MTK6737M chipset same as the Moto E4. The phone comes in two variants. One is 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and the other is 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. The memory is further expandable up to 128 GB.

On the camera front, the E4 Plus sports a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and single-LED flash support. At the front, it sports a camera of 5MP with f/2.2, and LED flash for better selfies.

The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery that is quite bigger than any other Motorola smartphone. The recently launched Moto C Plus houses a 4000 mAh battery though.

Other features of the phone include a front mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, and proximity sensor.

Moto E4 Plus is available in Iron Gray and Fine Gold colour options in US, so it is expected to be available in the same colors in India too.

Pricing and Availability

The Moto E4 Plus is expected to cost a more than the Moto E4, which means it could be priced around Rs 10,000. Also, since the Moto E4 is available on retail stores, it is expected that the Moto E4 Plus will be available online.
