Further extending the Galaxy S8 lineup, the Korean smartphone manufacturer, Samsung has recently launched the S8 and S8+ in Orchid Gray color option. With the new color, the number of options for S8 and S8+ include Midnight Black, Maple Gold, and Orchid Gray. The Orchid Gray color option is already available for pre-order on Flipkart and Samsung stores across the country.
Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ Specifications
Both the Galaxy S8 and S8+ feature an almost bezel-less display. The S8 features a 5.8″ display while the S8+ has a 6.2″ display. Both the phones are powered by the Samsung‘s own Exynos 8895 octa-core processor with Mali G71 MP20 GPU. The Galaxy S8 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the Galaxy S8+ offers two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.
Imaging duties are handled by a 12MP camera on the rear and an 8MP front camera. The rear camera features Dual Pixel technology and features an f/1.7 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus and OIS, along with an LED flash.
Other features include IP68 water and dust resistance, hybrid dual SIM slot, always-on display and fast and wireless charging capabilities. Both the phones feature a fingerprint sensor on the back, adjacent to the rear camera.

“In order to generate more response from the consumers, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ is introduced with a new color option and Samsung is looking forward to acknowledging the improved response with this. The new color options will provide consumers with a new style statement that would set them apart from the crowd.”
The new Orchid Grey variant will cost Rs. 57,900 for the Galaxy S8 and Rs. 64,900 for the Galaxy S8+. Pre-orders can be done between July 5 and July 11 on Flipkart and Samsung Shop with sales commencing from July 12.
In addition to this, the consumers will also get a dual benefit of a free Convertible Wireless Charger worth Rs. 4,499 and Rs. 3,000 cashback on HDFC credit card.
