After sending the press invites for the launch of Vivo X9s and X9s Plus for Thursday, Vivo has recently announced the successors of X9 and X9 Plus. The upcoming smartphones will feature a dual camera setup at the front to give a better image experience.
The configuration is made up of a 20 MP and a 5 MP and a user can adjust f/0.95 to f/1.6 equivalent aperture. These smartphones also feature a 16 MP rear camera. The Vivo X9s Plus also features RK1608 DSP for processing RAW captures in an effective manner.
The manufacturer has also released the specifications of both the smartphone.
Vivo X9s Specification
The base variant is packed with a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution. Powering the smartphone is an octa core Snapdragon 652 processor (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53 CPUs with Adreno 510 GPU.
It is further coupled with a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone supports Dual SIM and the OS is Funtouch 3.1 which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The smartphone measure 152.6 mm X 74mm X 6.99 mm and weighs 154 grams. It also features a fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, and AK4376 DAC.Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and is fueled by a 3320 mAh battery with fast charging support.
Vivo X9s Plus Specifications
The bigger variant features a 5.85 inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution. The phone is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU.
The processor is further coupled to a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone also supports Dual SIM and is runs on Funtouch OS 3.1 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
Camera duties are similar to Vivo X9s and also features fingerprint sensor and 3.5mm audio jack. Dimensions measure 162.59 mm X 78.84 mm x 7.25 mm and weighs slightly more than the X9s.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and is fueled by a bigger 4015 mAh battery which is also backed by fast charging.
Pricing And Availability
The Vivo X9s and X9s Plus will be available in Matte Black, Gold, and Rose Gold color options and will be priced at Rs. 25,665 and Rs. 28,520 respectively.
The sale for X9s Plus is scheduled for July 8 while the registrations for X9s will start from July 14 which will continue till July 20. Let’s see how these two smartphones compete in their respective price segment.
