Microsoft Kaizala App Launched In India, Aimed At Businesses And Organizations

Microsoft on Wednesday officially launched Kaizala, a mobile chat based productivity application to simplify large group communications for Indian organizations. The app is available for Android and iOS users only.

Microsoft says that Kaizala is well optimized, safe and secure to use. You can host over 1 million contacts in a single group and it also complies with industry security standards. It is powered by Azure Cloud platform.

Kaizala is app ‘Made for India’ only. Microsoft India has been testing Kaizala app with governments and businesses for months.

Anant Maheshwari, president, Microsoft India, said in a statement,


“Microsoft Kaizala, a made for India product, brings together the two disparate worlds of mobile only messaging apps and a digitally integrated modern workplace,”.

NITI Ayog, the economic advisory body of Government of India is also one of the earliest adopters of the App. NITI Ayog CEO Amitabh Kant said the launch event,

“Delighted to launch Microsoft’s Kaizala- a safe, secure, mobile first application designed and developed in India. NITI was its first few adopters.”

Some early adopters of the Microsoft Kaizala app in India include YES Bank, Apollo Telemedicine, Republic TV, etc. Also, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is one of the first government organizations to use Microsoft Kaizala. AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu uses the app for real-time governance.

You can manage your day with Kaizala features that the app called “Actions’’. These features enable to accomplish most of the work scenarios using a simple chat interface. The Kaizala Actions include:

You can make key announcements or share updates with your colleagues.

You can create to-do lists and capture everyone’s status on that list.

You can assign jobs to your team and track their completion status.

Let’s Meet

You can invite people to meetings and confirm their availability status on the same.

Live Location

Request live location from people and help them find their way.

Photo with Location

You can also share a picture with your current location.

Quick Poll and Survey

You can ask a question and get people’s opinion on it. You can also take a survey by asking a series of questions and get people’s opinions on it.

Request and Share Location

You can request people to share their location. You can share your location with others as well.

Submit Bill

Best of all, you can also submit your bills and expense with help of this app.

So, with the help of this mobile based app, organizations will be able to communicate, collaborate and complete tasks seamlessly and bring together desktop users and mobile users within or outside their organizations.

There is also a pro version of the app. Microsoft Kaizala Pro has additional features that include user and group management, system integration and automation using Microsoft APIs, advanced reporting, and analytics. The Kaizala Pro app costs Rs. 130 per user per month.
