Lenovo K8 Note Set To Launch As An Amazon Exclusive Device

After a confirmation from Lenovo last week, a teaser for the Lenovo K8 Note is now out on Amazon.in. Lenovo had earlier confirmed the phone to be launched on 9 August. The teaser says #KillTheOrdinary, and comprises of 2 videos showcasing the Lenovo K8 Note’s performance and camera.

The Lenovo K8 Note is expected to come with Deca-Core MediaTek processor, 4GB RAM 64GB ROM, 5.5-inch display, and latest Android 7.0 Nougat. The teaser also says #KillerNote, ‘Uncaging Soon’.

Although the phone is still rumoured, many key specifications of the Lenovo K8 Note are out. Let’s have a quick look at the specifications.

Starting from the display, we may see a 5.5-inch IPS-LCD panel with Full HD (1080x1920p) resolution. Behind the phone, we have a rear-mounted Fingerprint sensor and the camera module.


Being teased around its camera performance, the Lenovo K8 Note may come with a 16MP primary camera with Dual-tone Dual LED flash. Coming to the front camera, we may see 12MP selfie camera.

The K8 Note is anticipated to feature a deca-Core (10 core) MediaTek MT6797 Helio X20 processor clocked at 2.1 GHz. This processor may be coupled with Mali T880 MP4 GPU and 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM.

Next up, the performance on the K8 Note is one key factor of its marketing. With the hashtag #KillTheOrdinary, we may see a blazing fast smartphone. Anyhow, we expect it to come with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with Lenovo’s optimized skin.

The battery capacity of the K8 Note is not yet speculated, but we have a fair idea about connectivity. You may find the Lenovo K8 Note to come with a micro USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm earphone jack along with 4G connectivity. The phone is expected to support either 2 Sim cards or 1 Sim card with 1 microSD card of up to 256GB.

Pricing and Availability

Lenovo and Amazon India have confirmed the phone to be launching on August 9. The K8 Note will be an Amazon exclusive. Pricing of the K8 Note is not yet known.

The Lenovo K8 Note is expected to succeed the Lenovo K6. While Lenovo has skipped the K7 Note, the K8 might just be the perfect successor to Lenovo’s K Note series.
