LG Q6 With 5.5 Inch FullVision Display Launching In India

LG is launching its latest LG Q6 on August 10 in India. The phone will be an Amazon exclusive and its price is expected to be Rs. 19,990. The FullVision display phone with minimum bezels was first launched in Poland this year as a part of its new Q6 series.

LG had announced the LG Q6 smartphone last month among Q series that also consists Q6 Plus and Q6 Alpha. Now, the company has confirmed the launch date of Q6 along with a picture on its Twitter page. The Q6 series is the latest mid-range smartphone that has some important features of its premium flagship LG G6.

LG Q6 Specifications

The LG Q6 features a 7000 series aluminum body. The LG Q6 boasts of a 5.5 inch FHD+ FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen resolution of 2,160×1,080 pixels offers a pixel density of 442 PPI.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. While the other variants, LG Q6 Plus comes with 4GB/64GB and Q6 Alpha with 2GB/16GB are also available, but it is not clear whether they will be available in India or not.


The smartphone sports a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfie camera with a 100-degree wide angle. The LG Q6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with LG’s UX 6.0 skin on top.

The 4G VoLTE enabled phone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and comes with connectivity options like NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 etc. The phone also includes LG’s own Face Recognition feature. It allows users to unlock the device faster.

The lunch poster shows that the phone is priced at Rs 1_,990. It hints that might be priced at Rs 19,990 as rumored in past. The phone comes in four color options including Astro Black, Mystic White, Terra Gold colors and Ice Platinum. As mentioned, the phone will go on sale via Amazon India.

Apart from this, the company is also going to launch its next flagship LG V30 on August 31 in IFA Berlin 2017. LG has confirmed that the V30 will be the first of its phones to feature a 6 inch plastic OLED FullVision display.
