The Samsung Galaxy S8+ has received the second price cut in two months. The 6GB+128GB variant of the Galaxy S8+ has received a price cut ahead of the Note 8 launch in India next month.
Earlier, the same 6GB+128GB variant received a price cut of Rs. 4,000, and now it has received another price cut of Rs. 5,000. These slashes have put the Samsung Galaxy S8+ 6GB/128GB storage variant at Rs. 65,900, which is just Rs. 1,000 more than the 4GB+64GB storage variant.
Samsung Galaxy S8+ Specifications
This year’s S series flagships brought multiple premium features to the S8 and the S8+. While both phones share the same processor, the difference in S8 and S8+ is that the Plus variant comes with a bigger display and battery. Here are the complete specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S8+.
Starting with the display, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ features a bezel-less 6.2 inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with Quad HD+ resolution. in the camera department, you get a 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and an LED flash. A front-facing camera of 8MP is given for selfies and video calling.
In the hardware department, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ packs an octa-core Exynos 88895 processor, clocked at 2.3GHz. This processor is coupled with two RAM/ROM variants. One is a 4GB+64GB variant and the other is with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. The 6GB+128GB variant is the one to receive the price slashes. Both variants support expandable memory via microSD card up to 256GB.
Coming to performance, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ comes with Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box with Grace UI on top. It has an Always-On Display, Iris Scanner, and a fingerprint sensor.
Powered by a 3,500 mAh non-removable battery, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ comes with dual SIM 4G VoLTE capabilities. In connectivity options, you get USB Type-C, Bluetooth, NFC, and WiFi.

The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is now priced at Rs. 65,900 and available online as well as across offline retail channels. Having received price slashes in the past month and now as well, the S8+ 6GB/128GB variant is now priced at just Rs. 1,000 more than the 64GB variant.
