Samsung Galaxy Note 8 gets ‘A+’ rating by DisplayMate

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has set a new benchmark by being rated as the smartphone with the best display on the DisplayMate Test. Passing with flying colors, the display on the Note 8 got an A+ rating.

DisplayMate is an industry standard for benchmarking of displays on all electronic appliances. They’ve given an A+ rating to the 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display. This rating has given us yet another reason as to why the Galaxy Note 8 is a great flagship.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specifications

This year’s Note flagship has received multiple new features in both hardware and software terms. Starting with the newly awarded display, you get a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED panel with Quad HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

In terms of camera, you get Dual 12MP cameras with independent OIS, 2x Optical Zoom, and a Dual LED Dual Tone flash. A front-facing 8MP camera with f/1.7 aperture is also there for selfies and video calling.


Packing a Snapdragon 835/Exynos 8895 Octa-core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is clocked at a maximum speed of 2.35GHz. This processor is coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. You also get an expansion option of up to 256GB using microSD card.

Powered by a non-removable 3,300 mAh fast charging enabled battery, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is safer and rigorously tested to not end up like its predecessor. For connectivity, the Note 8 has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm earphone jack, NFC, Bluetooth, and WiFi.
