Google Certified Android devices to come with Play Protect logo

Google has been taking steps to make Android devices more secure and Google Play Protect was once such step, that was announced during the I/O 2017. Now, the company has announced that devices certified secure by the company will feature the Play Protect logo on the box of the device, confirming them as ‘Certified Android’ devices.

Google in collaboration with manufacturers will certify that the devices along with the Google apps that come pre-installed on them follow the Android security and permissions model. The certified devices will also come with Play Protect out-of-the-box.
