Vivo V7+ with 6-inch display, 24MP front camera launched for Rs. 21,990

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has just launched their camera-centric Vivo V7+ here in India. While the phone’s USP is the strong camera setup, it also offers a FullView display with minimum bezels.

The Vivo V7+ has arrived with a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and minimum bezels. Vivo had sent out invites for the launch of the phone last month, pointing at the phone’s camera capabilities. Launched today, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, and comes with a 16MP rear camera and a 24MP front camera.

Vivo V7+ Specifications

Vivo V7+The Vivo V7+ is the successor to last year’s V5+. Starting with the build, the Vivo V7+ is made of plastic and weighs 160 grams. While the rear camera and flash are placed on the top left of the back, a rear mounted fingerprint sensor is also present for fast unlocking.

In terms of the display, you get a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution. The display comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass for protection. In terms of cameras, you get a 16MP rear camera and a 24MP selfie camera on the front. Both cameras come with flash.


Coming to hardware, the Vivo V7+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. This octa-core chipset is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. You also get up to 256GB expandable memory using a microSD card.

In terms of performance, the Vivo V7+ runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with FunTouch OS 3.2 on top. The OS comes with preloaded apps like Vivo cloud, UC Browser, iMusic and more. Other optimizations include an Eye-Protection mode, Drag to search, and inbuilt themes.

Powered by a 3,225 mAh battery, the Vivo V7+ features Bluetooth, WiFi, Micro USB port and a 3.5mm earphone jack. On the downside, the Vivo V7+ does not support Fast Charging.

Pricing and Availability

With a price tag of Rs. 21,990 the Vivo V7+ will come in Matte Black, Gold, and Rose Gold colors. While the phone is set to go on sale starting from September 15, pre-orders will start today at Amazon.in and Flipkart.

While the phone definitely looks premium, it still lacks a metal body and a Full HD display. On the positive side, the Vivo V7+ packs a really bright display which is crisp even in direct sunlight.
