Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro specifications leaked

As launch nears there are new rumours and leaks surrounding the Huawei Mate 10 series which is to be unveiled in Munich on October 16. As Huawei gear up for the launch, nearly all key specifications of the Mate 10 series are out.

As tipped by leakster Evan Blass, the Huawei Mate 10 is codenamed as Marcel and the Mate 10 Pro is codenamed as Blanc. Both devices are already confirmed to feature the recently unveiled Kirin 970 processor. The Mate 10 Pro features a 5.99 inch display, 6GB RAM, and two storage variants. Let us have a look at the specifications.

Apart from the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, another variant codenamed as ‘Alps’ is also anticipated to be launched as the Huawei Mate 10 Lite.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro

Starting with the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, it is codenamed as ‘Blanc’. It is tipped to feature a 5.99 inch IPS LCD display with quad HD resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.


Optics department on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro may be handled by a dual camera setup with 20MP monochrome and 12MP RGB Leica lenses and f/1.6 aperture. A front-facing 8MP camera is also anticipated.

While the presence of a Kirin 970 processor is sure on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, it is expected to come with 6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage variants. Apart from its AI backed processor, the Mate 10 Pro is expected to ship out with Android 8.0 Oreo with Huawei’s Emotion UI 6.0.

The leaks go on to reveal a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging, fingerprint sensor, and IP68 water and dust resistance. 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC are also tipped to be the standard connectivity options.

Huawei Mate 10 Lite Leaked Specifications

Codenamed ‘Alps’, the possible device is tipped to come with a 5.88 inch IPS display with 16:9 aspect ratio. Rumoured to be running the same Kiring 970 processor that will power the Mate 10 Pro, it is expected to have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. We do not have anymore information about the Mate 10 Lite as of now.

Details about the Huawei Mate 10 which is codenamed ‘Marcel’ are not out as of now. Let us wait until October 16 to see what Huawei has in store for the Mate 10 series.
