Along with the Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi today also launched the Mi Notebook Pro in China. Packing an Intel i7 8th Gen processor, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro is a 15.6 inch Notebook with an 81.5% screen ratio.
With the processor as its highlight, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro also features Harman Infinity audio with Dolby Atmos. It packs an all metal body with aluminium alloy and magnesium alloy chassis. The Mi Notebook Pro will come with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Starting with the build, you get an all metal body on the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro. With aluminium alloy and magnesium alloy composition, the Mi Notebook Pro is both sturdy and light. In fact, a durability test during the launch showcased the Mi Notebook Pro being driven over by a scooter and working even after that. With 15.9 mm thickness, the Mi Notebook Pro weighs 1.95 KG.
It features a 15.6 inch display with full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. A 1MP high definition webcam along with digital array microphone is given for video calling. The keyboard is also precision designed by resizing keys for accurate typing.
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro comes in two processor variants and three RAM variants. You get the combination of i7 processor/16GB RAM, i7 processor/8GB RAM and i5 processor with 8GB RAM. All three variants come with NVIDIA MX150 graphics card and 256GB internal storage.
Running on Windows 10 Operating System, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro is secured by Windows Hello (Fingerprint unlocking) for unlocking the laptop in 2 seconds. Powered by a 60 Wh battery, the Mi Notebook Pro gets fast charging support which recharges 50% power in 35 minutes. For connectivity options, you get 2 USB ports, 2 USB Type-C ports, an HDMI port, SD card slot and a 3.5 mm earphone jack.
Pricing and Availability
Since Xiaomi is aggressively pricing their products for a competitive market, they have pegged the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro starting at CNY 5,599 (Rs. 55,830). The basic i5 processor/8GB variant is priced at CNY 5,599 (Rs. 55,830 ), the i7/8GB model is priced at CNY 6,399 (Rs. 62,660), and the premium i7/16GB RAM model will cost CNY 6,999 (Rs. 68,550)
