Oppo A71 with Android 7.1 Nougat launched for Rs. 12,990

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has added a new budget smartphone, the Oppo A71 to its Indian portfolio. The phone comes with a metal unibody design and a 5.2-inch display. Camera specifications include a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front-facing unit.

As we earlier reported, the Oppo A71 was already introduced silently in the Malaysian and Pakistani markets. The device has made its way to India with the exact same specifications. Being a budget smartphone, the Oppo A71 features a MediaTek processor, 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The A71 that has been launched in India bears the same specifications as seen on the Malaysian unit. To recall, the Oppo A71 features a 5.2 inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution. In the camera department, you get a 13MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The Oppo A71 comes in metallic unibody design for durability.

Talkin about hardware, the A71 packs a MediaTek MT6750 octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. This processor is backed by 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. You can expand the storage up to 256GB using a microSD card.


Oppo phones run on Color OS, which is based on Android and optimises the performance of Oppo phones. It runs Color OS 3.1 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The optimized skin offers added features and ease of multitasking on the Oppo A71.

Powered by a 3,000mAh battery, the Oppo A71 is a dual SIM compatible smartphone. WiFi, Bluetooth, micro USB, and a 3.5mm earphone jack come as standard connectivity options for the Oppo A71.

The Oppo A71 is available for buying on Flipkart at a price tag of Rs. 12,990. You get an extra Rs. 500 discount as well. The phone is available in Black and Gold colors and comes with a 1-year handset warranty and 6 months warranty on accessories.
