Nokia 2 expected to come with a 4,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 212

HMD Global led Nokia is all set to launch its budget device, the Nokia 2. Over the past few days, some of leaks of the Nokia 2 have surfaced online. The latest leak has disclosed its 4,000 mAh battery capacity along with some other details.

Earlier leaks from the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) showcased the Nokia 2 in images. It is FCC itself from where the battery capacity leaks have poured in. With entry level specifications like a 5 inch display, 1GB RAM, and Snapdragon 212 processor, the Nokia 2 may soon arrive in the market.

As per the leaks and rumours, the Nokia 2 will be the most affordable Nokia phone with entry-level specifications and a massive 4,000 mAh battery. If Nokia prices this device competitively, Nokia 2 can take the market by storm when it comes to India. Let us have a look at the specifications.

According to the FCC leaks, the Nokia 2 will be sporting a 5-inch or a 4.77-inch display which might be of HD resolution. Optics on the Nokia 2 is not clearly known so far. What we do know is that there is a single camera at the back, accompanied by a flash, while the front camera does not come with flash.

On the hardware front, the device is tipped to come with 1GB RAM and a Snapdragon 212 processor. While these are entry-level specifications, they might be true because all Nokia phones so far are powered by Snapdragon processors.

As stock Android is seen on all the Nokia phones so far, we can expect the Nokia 2 to also be running stock Android. Leaks suggest it will be running stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat and a 4,000 mAh battery.
