Flipkart, Amazon’s festive sales start on September 20

India’s festive sales season is about to start in few days, with India’s top e-commerce companies Amazon and Flipkart locking horns vying to garner maximum traffic to their platforms. Both companies have been promoting sales on social media, print media, Television ads, and other channels.

While Flipkart’s Big Billion Days festive sale starts on 20 September and ends on 24 September, Amazon’s Great Indian Festival sale starts on 21st September and ends on 24th September. Flipkart has collaborated with government-owned SBI to offer additional 10% discount on SBI debit and credit cards.

Reliance Jio along with Samsung, Oppo, Intel Vivo, Acer, and SYSKA are the brand partners for the sale. The mind-boggling deal revealed by Flipkart is the sale of Galaxy S7 for a price of Rs. 29,999. You should also keep an eye on HTC U11, as Flipkart confirmed there will be a considerable discount on the phone. Exchange offers, guaranteed buyback offers and no cost EMI on all mobiles with Bajaj Finserv EMI card are icing on the cake for the customers.

Fashion exclusive stores Jabong and Myntra, subsidiaries of Flipkart, are also joining the party by conducting separate sales on their platforms.

On the other hand, Amazon partnered with Mumbai-based HDFC bank to offer 10 percent additional cashback on HDFC credit and debit cards. While regular users have to wait till clock ticks 12 midnight on 20 Sep, Amazon Prime users can get early access to the deals starting at 12 noon on 20 September. Amazon is also offering no-cost EMI on selected products on major credit cards (Axis, ICICI, HDFC, Citi Bank, SBI, IndusInd, Yes Bank, Kotak, RBL, HSBC, Standard Chartered) and Bajaj Finserv EMI card.

It is the best time to make an online purchase, so items may get sold like hot cakes. Keep your wishlists, address, and cards ready to ensure you don’t miss any deal.
