Apple is going to start accepting pre-orders for its latest device, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in starting from September 22 in India. Indian telecom operator Reliance Jio has announced lucrative cashback and guaranteed buy-back options on the two iPhones.
Grabbing over a million bookings for the JioPhone, Reliance Jio is now banking on the premium Apple customers to pre-book the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with Rs. 10,000 cashback on purchase using Citibank Credit cards and 70% cashback upon returning the phone after a year of usage. This will be valid only for those customers who purchase the device from Reliance Digital, Jio.com, Jio Store, and MyJio app.
Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus Offers
As you all know, Apple is starting with their pre-orders for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus here in India from tomorrow i.e. September 22. The iPhones will start shipping on September 29. Reliance Jio has undertaken the pre-orders for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus from Jio.com, Jio Stores, and even the MyJio app.
The first offer is when you buy an Apple iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus using a Citibank Credit card, you will get an assured cashback of Rs. 10,000. This cashback means that the iPhone 8 will cost you Rs. 54,000 for the 64GB model and Rs. 67,000 for the 256GB model. After the cashback, the iPhone 8 Plus will cost you Rs. 63,000 for the 64GB model, and Rs. 76,000 for the 256GB variant.
The second offer comes in when (and if) you return your Apple iPhone 8 after a year of usage. Upon returning the handset after one year, you will get 70% cashback from the retail price. This offer, however, comes with the condition that you will have to use a Reliance Jio sim for the said period and at the time of returning your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus.
To retain consumers, Reliance Jio is also offering special plans for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus users with Jio Sim. You will be getting 90GB data, unlimited SMS, Jio Apps subscription, and free voice calling for 28 days (prepaid users) or one billing cycle (postpaid users) at Rs. 799.
