HTC is gearing up to launch the successor of the U11 next month. According to rumours, the device is named U11 Plus and will come with some minor design improvements and a bigger display.
The Taiwanese manufacturer has sent out a teaser for the launch event, scheduled to take place on November 2. HTC, for its part, has also confirmed that the device will be from its U series – rumours suggest that it will be the U11 Plus. In the meantime, press renders of the U11 Plus have been leaked as well, showing the upcoming phone off.

The physical dimensions of the U11 Plus are expected to be around 158.2 x 74.6 x 9.1 mm – the thickness may stand out to some readers, but HTC is expected to pack in a big 4,000 mAh battery. The display is expected to be of 6 inches in size, with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a Quad HD+ screen resolution.
Moving on to other specs of the U11 Plus, we are looking at an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that is expected to be coupled with either 4GB or 6GB RAM. Imaging duties will be handled by a 12MP main camera and an 8MP front camera. The phone is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Prior to this, HTC had launched the U11 in India in June this year, featuring a squeeze option that lets you quickly launch apps, with options to customize the apps or your actions. It was priced at around Rs. 51,990 in India for the 6GB variant. Similarly, we can expect the 6GB variant of the U11 Plus to be launched in India in the coming months.
