OnePlus 5T first images leak, reveal 6-inch display, minimal bezels

Fresh leaks about the Oneplus 5T are making rounds of the internet now. They indicate at a bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. While the complete looks of the phone are not revealed, we can still notice the sleek body with a tall display.

The OnePlus 5T leaks showcased by Android Authority show the bottom of the smartphone. The leaks suggest that the phone will be released in November around the launch date of the OnePlus 3T in 2016. The alleged OnePlus 5T is shown with minimal bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio.

OnePlus 5T rumored specifications

Not much has surfaced about the OnePlus 5T yet, but it is pretty clear by now that there will be a 5T. Rumored to come with an 18:9 aspect ratio, the phone is expected to pack a bigger 6-inch display. It is expected to come with full HD+ (2160 x 1080p) resolution and the leaks show minimal bezels.

OnePlus 5T leaks

There is expected to be much more than just display tweaks on the OnePlus 5T. Apart from catching up with the 18:9 trend, the phone may also get rear-mounted fingerprint sensor to keep the device size handy. This may be an indicator of on-screen navigation keys on the OnePlus 5T.

Also, the speaker grille is seen at the bottom of the phone, just like the OnePlus 5. The larger display will also require a battery boost so we can safely say there will be a bigger battery on the OnePlyus 5T than the OnePlus 5. The body of the OnePlus 5T bears similar looks to that of the OnePlus 5.

This may indicate towards a similar anodized aluminum build or maybe a sturdier build than its predecessor. Nothing is yet known about the performance boosts (if any) on the OnePlus 5T. But one thing we would want to see here is water-resistance. No water resistance was one drawback of the OnePlus 5 so the successor shall take care of it and add to the durability.
