Xiaomi to host MIUI Partnership Day in India on November 7

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is now on its way to host the first MIUI partnership day here in India. The MIUI partnership day is aimed at making developers familiar with Xiaomi’s custom skin, MIUI.

The Xiaomi MIUI partnership day is scheduled to take place on November 7 at the Leela Ambience in Gurugram. Developers can register themselves online to be a part of the event. The MIUI works as an optimized UI on Xiaomi smartphones and receives regular updates from Xiaomi. As of now, there are over 280 million devices with MIUI around the globe.

In a statement, Xiaomi has said that the MIUI Partnership Day is a step towards it commitment to the local market. By local market, Xiaomi is referring to optimize the MIUI according to Indian usage and consumption. There have been additions like Copy OTP, Smart IRCTC Ticket SMS, and Dual apps in the MIUI.

The above-listed features of the MIUI have come out as a result of 3 years of research and development here in India. Xiaomi will be targeting Internet services strategy, from products and services, monetization, to the MIUI ecosystem and investments. Also, the Xiaomi MIUI now supports 13 Indic languages, making it more local and customizable for the Indian consumer.

China-based Xiaomi is aggressively expanding here in India. The company has made its phone widely available online as well as offline. Xiaomi Mi Home Stores are also rapidly expanding across the country.

Not only this, the company has added three new products to their Indian lineup recently. The Xiaomi Mi VR Play 2, Mi Power Bank Pro, and the Xiaomi Mi Noise Cancelling Earphones with a USB Type-C port.

Hosting an event to familiarize developers with MIUI will give Xiaomi the advantage to quickly update and make MIUI customizable for the Indian market while local developers work on it.
