Vodafone India has announced two special Voice and data plans for new prepaid customers in the Delhi-NCR region. Customers who wish to join Vodafone’s 4G network will get benefits of 1GB daily data and free voice calls. The new Vodafone plans are aimed at offering calls and 4G data at a cheaper rate.
Customers who join Vodafone will get unlimited local & STD calls, free national roaming calls and 1GB data per day for their first recharge of Rs. 496 or Rs. 177. The validity of Rs. 496 Vodafone plan is 84 days while the Rs. 177 pack is valid for 28 days. There is no daily or weekly cap on calling and users can call for as many minutes they want.
These new FRCs from Vodafone are also applicable for customers who are porting in to Vodafone. This recharge will cater to heavy internet users and frequent roamers very well. Earlier this week, the operator had also launched a Rs. 69 SuperWeek pack which offers unlimited local and STD calls to all networks and 500MB data for 7 days.
These new plans from Vodafone have been announced to compete with Reliance Jio. To recall, Jio has also updated its popular prepaid and postpaid plans just a week ago. Vodafone’s Rs. 496 plan competes directly with Jio’s Rs. 459 plan, which has the same benefits and also offers free SMSes. There is no Jio plan with 28-day validity offering 1GB data per day.
Speaking about the new offers, Mr. Alok Verma, Business Head, Delhi & NCR, Vodafone India, said,
“We, at Vodafone, believe in providing the best network, service experience and value to our customers. We are pleased to extend world-class Vodafone services with a basket of offerings to mobile subscribers in Delhi NCR. The Rs 177 & Rs 496 First Recharges are very attractive offers for prepaid customers wanting to switch over to Vodafone SuperNet”.
