HTC U11+ launched with QHD+ full-screen display: Specs, price and more

HTC has announced a new flagship, the new HTC U11+, featuring a big 6-inch full-screen display with minimal bezels and Edge Sense, building on the HTC U11 that was launched earlier this year.

The HTC U11+ comes with a 6-inch display, 12MP and 8MP cameras, Snapdragon 835 processor, up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The best part here is that this phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. The HTC U11+ also gets premium audio quality because of the HTC BoomSound.

Featuring a shiny back with a premium finish, the HTC U11+ a number of hardware upgrades compared to its predecessor, the U11. The U11+ comes with a 6-inch display with Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440p) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. With a screen-to-body ratio of 82%, the device has minimal bezels and a premium look, and looks even better in the special Translucent Black color.

Coming to hardware, the U11+ is not much different from the U11 – it is powered by the same Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU and comes in two RAM variants i.e. 4GB/64GB storage and 6GB/128GB internal storage. For those who need it, there is an option to expand the internal storage up to 2TB using a microSD card.

The HTC U11+ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box with Sense UI on top. The phone offers an enhanced audio experience thanks to the bundled HTC USonic earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation and HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition.

Backed by a 3,930 mAh battery, the HTC U11+ also features a fingerprint sensor on the back, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

Pricing and Availability

The HTC U11+ is available in two colours, Ceramic Black and Amazing Silver, in addition to a special Translucent Black colour. The phone will be available starting November 20 in the UK with the 6GB/128GB variant priced at £699 (roughly Rs. 59,000).
