After several leaks in the past, the Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 have now been spotted online for WiFi and FCC certifications. With formal support pages now, both these phones are expected to come with a bezel-less infinity display like the Samsung flagships.
While several specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 are already leaked, the fresh leaks have revealed the WiFi compatibility. The phones are listed to feature dual-band, 2.4GHz, and 5GHz, Wi-Fi support with 802.11 a/b/g/ac. The listing also reveals that the Samsung Galaxy A7 will be the superior device as it is listed with WiFi Direct and 802.11n support for connecting with most hotspots.
Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 are the latest trendsetters in terms of bezel-less display. So it won’t be a surprise if Samsung decides to give their mid-range phones, the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 a similar revamped look. Both the devices are tipped to feature an infinity display with minimal bezels.
The leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A5 will come with a full HD+ display with minimal bezels. It is tipped to be backed by the Exynos 7885 processor which is expected to be fabricated on the 10nm design to succeed the Exynos 7880 processor.
The bigger Galaxy A7 is also expected to come with a bezel-less display and feature the same Exynos 7885 processor. A leaked GeekBench listing shows the phone sporting 6GB RAM and a processor clocked at 1.59 GHz. The Galaxy A7 is also expected to feature a Bixby Button.
Talking about the recently supported formal support pages, the Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 have their pages on the company’s Russia page and South Korea page. The Galaxy A5 is named the SM-A530N and the Galaxy A7 is named as SM-A730F.
SamMobile has also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A7 was spotted on the FCC website. This usually happens when a launch is imminent. So this time too, we can expect to see the Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 2018 variants in the first quarter of next year.
