How to get a discount on a new Mi smartphone under the Mi Exchange Program

Xiaomi has announced a new exchange program which lets you exchange your old smartphone for a new Xiaomi smartphone at Mi Home stores. Xiaomi has partnered with Cashify, the domestic re-commerce company to launch the program.

Customers can exchange only one device for a new Xiaomi phone. The Cashify team will propose the resale value for the device based on the phone’s condition and market conditions. Customers can use the same amount to purchase a new Xiaomi smartphone at the store. Customers can also get a pickup service of the old phone for which they have to pay the full amount for the new phone at the Mi Home Store and schedule a pickup.

Terms and conditions for the Mi Exchange Program

This is an old phone exchange program which is run by Cashify at all Mi home stores. Customers can exchange any one device which should be in Cashify portfolio with a new Xiaomi phone available at the Mi home. The evaluation of the old phone will be purely based on its condition.

Then, Cashify will offer the resale value of the phone which will be based on the Cashify inbuilt app. There will be no negotiation on the proposed resale price. Customers will get an e-receipt from Cashify for the old phone.


Mi Exchange Program

Customers can also get a pickup service on the old phone by Cashify. In this case, they have to pay the complete amount for the new Xiaomi phone at the Mi Home store during and schedule a pickup call. Cashify will send an executive to collect the device as per the schedule and pay the customer.

Once the exchange is made, the customer cannot do any further changes. Also, in the process, all the issues will be addressed by Cashify and Xiaomi has no involvement in it. In case of queries, customers can contact Cashify customer care team.

The offer is applicable only at Mi Home stores. Currently, there are total 11 Mi Home stores across India including Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai. Xiaomi is also planning to expand its offline presence and aims to open 100 Mi Homes across India in the next two years.
